Who is this course for?

ABC Driver Ed was written primarily for young adults learning the skills to drive on real world roads. That said, the course meets all the Nevada DMV requirements for individuals of any age to learn the needed driving skills. The course is presented in a dynamic and thought provoking format.

How long is the course?

A:  The Nevada DMV requires that all Driver Educational Course be 30  hours in length. Our DUI course is available online 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Is there support if I have a question?

A:  The developers of the this course are available from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm 7 days a week, including holidays. No answering service. You are also invited to text message and we will return your call or message within a few minutes.  Customer service is very important to us and we make every effort not to leave students waiting for an answer.

How do I sign up for the course?

A: Registering for our Driver Ed course is a stress free and fast process.  Once payment is received, a link will be emailed to you within 5 to 15 minutes. Once registration is complete, you are ready to begin the course. You can begin the course right away or at a time more convenient for you.

What if I lose or forget my password?

A: Simply phone toll free (855) 329-2888 or in Northern Nevada (775) 329-2888 and we provide you with a replacement password, once we have confirmed it is you making the request.

Do I need to finish the course in one sitting until completed?

A: The course is designed for students to sign in and out, and return as often as their schedule permits. The course will always continue from the section where you last logged out. Be sure to provide adequate time to complete a section before logging out.

Is the course only available online?

A: The course was created with the student’s convenience and schedule in mind.  So yes, the course is only available online.

Do I need any special software or hardware?

A: Our Driver Ed Course will work on any internet browser. No special software downloads or hardware is required to participate in our course.  If you have a computer, tablet, smart phone and WIFI, our course is always at the tips of your fingers.

Is my payment to American Driver Ed secure?

A: Payments are made directly to a PayPal account using any a credit card or debit card. PayPal is a trusted site by many small and large companies for business transactions.

What if I have no e-mail address?

A: An email address is generally required to participate in our course. If you do not have a personal email address, you may consider using a family or friend’s address.

What if I lose internet connection?

A:  The Internet is a continuously evolving technology, but it is not infallible and occasionally fails… usually at an inconvenient time.  If for some reason, you lose internet connection in the middle of a section, when you log back in, you are able to continue from where you left off including the time you spent in that section.  You cannot lose credit for the time you have invested to that moment.

Which browser is recommended for best access to your site?

A: For best access to our website, we recommend using Google Chrome, though other browsers will work as well. The browser is free and can be downloaded through Google. A link is provided at the beginning of the course.

Are there any special computer or download requirements to participate in the course?

A: There are no videos to download in our program and no special requirements for your computer.  You can typically enroll and complete the course without a problem. If for some reason you do experience a computer problem, we are here to answer any questions from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm 7 days a week.
